Lots of London boroughs continue to prioritise the convenience of Range Rover drivers over the safety of Londoners. This is @rbkc.gov.uk who shamefully removed a cycle lane here.

I have a father and mother in law in Iran. I have a sister in law. A niece. She's 14. She likes silly pink headbands and purses and dresses, just like kids her age all over the world. There are 93 million people like her in Iran. People who do all the normal mundane life things as the rest of us.

You can't on the one hand say you oppose racism and on the other allow a man who was 'literally'selling swastika merch a year ago. This isn't about free speech, it's about hate speech.

16 years ago Finsbury Park was home to #antiracism and music. Now @wirelessfestival.bsky.social are platforming antisemite #Kanye whilst @haringeylabour.bsky.social let it happen. Shameful stuff in our community

A reminder from a few hundred thousand people: there are far more good people who oppose racism and discrimination than support it.

Sending love and solidarity to our dedicated and inspiring Hatzola colleagues, who work alongside our emergency services in North London. Their hard-working volunteers provide emergency healthcare support to those in need.
Atrocious that they have been targeted in this way.

Very sorry to hear your news, but you should be incredibly proud of your achievements in that short period. Many people talk, whilst others do. Thank you for everything

The north London junction that is still a deadly gap in London’s cycling network London Cycling Campaign deputy chair Eilidh Murray on delays fixing the junction in Finsbury Park that is so dangerous for cyclists.

www.hamhigh.co.uk/news/2569383... An important issue that council leaders and the @london.gov.uk need to act on. When will see action @metecoban92.bsky.social ?

Unfortunately there are long term Councillors in Islington who were very happy to install hundreds of new car parking spaces and oppose bike parking.

Weird what is considered a problem, and what is completly ignored, despite the damage to the pavement @islington-council.bsky.social @islingtonlabour.bsky.social

Whilst the outcome here is unusual, the pattern of driving isn't. FWIW this is the 2nd trial this week of someone causing multiple casualties in the UK

Camden's officers just seem to get it. Inspiring to see one borough that understands junction design being paramount to safety

This was Mrs Thomas's chair who lived in Finsbury Park from 1935 to 2000. It is still in the same house now.

Tories pledge to scrap landmark climate legislation Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says her party would axe legally binding targets to cut emissions.

Climate change is already damaging the nature, beauty and heritage we care for. Without deep and sustained cuts to emissions, nature faces an even more perilous future and the places people love will continue to suffer.

OK, Quick Q&A:

What is the plan for cycling along Amhurst road at Mare Street?

A: a bus gate, operating 7-7. So no protected lanes.

Someone jokes that cyclists disappear at 7pm 🤣
