You can go buy a used ipad at "fix ton padget" (Pet the doggo💖) and use procreate. Add a paper texture screen protector and it's the smoothest digital paint experience I ever had. It's not perfect but close.

I was looking for a pen tablet because I'm doing overpaint over game engine screenshots and I feel it's a smoother experience. I have a cintiq but switch app over multiple screens/multiple screen resolution is a major pain in the ass. On top of awkward neck position.

I know the feeling, like you engaged yourself to get back to something later and realized how much time has passed. But don't feel too dragged by that, you invested your time into something else. And even to this day, digital painting can be a pain in the ass. So 🤷

2 weeks ago was strong beer fest, many Stouts to try. So it was Flemish stew (carbonnade flamande) and Tiramisu time as well.

Heretic 2's always been kind of a pain in the ass to get working on modern PCs. Heretic2R is a new reverse-engineered source port that alleviates much of this, and its first release just dropped: github.com/m-x-d/Hereti...
