i think i agree, but how big does the stretch have to be before you’ll start calling it a forest

ok i wouldn’t call an orchard the woods or a forest even if it’s big, so there may be other factors

i’ll call any wooded area i can’t see the other side of the woods, especially if i’m talking about something that’s “in the woods”

but at a certain unknowable size/look/feel, i will start primarily referring to it as a forest
