And the day after, just to be sure.

A rapid montage of all the big twists and plot-critical scenes from phases 4-6, followed by Doctor Strange waking up from meditation and saying "wow, I'm sure glad we're not going down THAT timeline!" and winking directly at the camera

This Is Just To Say

I have turned off
the AI features
that were in
the update

and which
you were probably
hoping
to monetize

Fuck you
they were stupid
so unnecessary
and so annoying

'And sin, young man, is when you treat people as things. Including yourself. That’s what sin is.'

That's absolutely the right way to do it. Helping people to understand their options is good! Telling them which of those options is the best is intrusive.

Quarterbacking. One player telling others how to play, what to do on their turn, how to spend their gold, mathing out the "optimal" distribution of loot. Just play your character and let the others play theirs! If you want to control the whole party, go play a CRPG.

What a book. One of my all-time favourites.

Just want to say how much more accessible reading random scottish history books has become to me after reading this.

What's a byre? No longer is my mind going to check wiki for a five word summary i won't retain, now the gorgeous illustration from this book comes to mind. Same for other words. ❤️

Never understood GMs boasting about killing PCs or TPKing. It's trivially easy for the person who can freely add monsters to encounters and whose dice rolls are kept secret from the rest of the group to win encounters. The real skill is losing narrowly and in an interesting way.

Because reddit told them it was more "optimal" to dump STR and they don't think they should have to face the consequences of that choice.

Honestly, I'd take that. At least they're trying.

Players building a character that's hyper specialised in one thing and trying to solve every problem with that skill. No, you can't use Arcana instead of Diplomacy, I don't care how much magical technobabble you sprinkle into the conversation. Branch out or let someone else try.

I put a railway into my novel setting because I got bored of trying to figure out horse-based travel logistics.

"If it's important it should be in the book"

Oh, in the book? In the pages between the front and back covers? The pages where the prologue and epilogue are printed? That book?

Last night in ##pathfinder2e, the party encountered a rat swarm, which I expected to be a tricky encounter because of the big damage resistance. Then the eidolon critted it for maximum damage and killed it instantly. Fastest and most anticlimactic combat encounter I've ever seen.

Nvidia’s CEO can spout whatever technonsense he likes about regurgitative AI, I’m not going to dignify it by reading a fucking word.

The conversation stops at the fact AI is toxic waste. Ethically, morally, financially, environmentally. You cannot rhetorically clear that checkpoint.

Oof, tough break! The cow was very consistent with damage for us, only ever rolled critical hits for exactly 14 damage. Just enough to scare them, not enough to knock anyone out.

#pathfinder2e Blood Lords party defeated the zombie cow without major incident. By which I mean 3 party members were on critically low health by the end but nobody died. Already having a blast with this AP.
