I'm currently a bit nostalgic for gen 8, it's always been my second fav after 7. These three are basically main characters, each with their own storyline

Also Gwen technically precedes all my legacy ocs, she existed in a different form (but had the same name and appearance) all the way back in 2015

Both Rick and his sister Cami's quotes are a reference to something, the HSM ref is literally because I gave them a surname after Vanessa H and the rainbow quote is because Cami's band had "rainbow" in the name

Today is his in-universe birthday, but he was first created by me in December 2008! The same month I made him in ts2, and he was the first ever sim I made.

He was the OC icon of my teenage years, I wrote so many stories about him and other characters from his verse (which I now call Rickverse)

I think I have a special soft spot for close-knit friend groups with found family vibes! Everything comes down to it for me

I also love me some complex dynamics between family/friends/ siblings/lovers. Like when they're dealing with some rather complicated/mixed feelings and personal conflicts

People who can sit in front of the laptop/PC for hours and don't feel it in your back and neck, oh you have no idea how lucky you are

My new job is kinda kicking my ass so I decompress in bed every evening and don't even have time or energy to play games, let alone write stories (my job is also connected with writing, so I have enough of it during workdays) but this makes looking forward to the weekend more rewarding
