Like my parents witnessed the first moon landing and now in my lifetime we’re going again multiple times AND people have been in space aboard the ISS for 26 years straight!!!!!!!!!!

I think about all the destruction happening on Earth whether it be war, deforestation, data center construction —and the simple fact that all we have is our Earth —this oasis in our cosmos— makes it seem even more pointless and frustrating

The fact that we as a species can go into space and observe Earth from a distance is SO INCREDIBLE !!!! I won’t ever get over it
