Just thinking about seeing those pairs of eyes at night gives me the heebies.

I was out with the dog this morning and he was so nervous. Alternately right next to me or trying to run back to the car. There were deer droppings everywhere, and then I found a pile of wolf scat. And then another! I didn’t have bear spray with me, so we wrapped up our chores pretty quickly.

So charming.

Here’s what I see. A man in shorts, snow covered with heat absorbing dark material, and meltwater drilling its way through what appears to be a glacier. Calming? Terrifying.

On my way to a gold panning spot on a wild river. Gear it down, keep the wheels turning, and a Forester will go anywhere. The video compression obscures just how deep those holes are.
