As I enter my 9th month of unemployment(!!), it's demoralizing how much I've been thinking about abandoning my integrity so that I can bypass some abstract algorithm. Maybe a hiring manager that's a REAL human will recognize my worth without me having to sacrifice my core ethics (2/2).
I've had this dilemma re: "Am I not getting hired because I'm not using genAI?" question, because I make the effort to humanize my responses on questionnaires, cover letters, etc., yet I always get auto-rejected after submitting a job applicationโby some robotic ATS software, nonetheless (1/2).
