I AGREE! It’s more interesting to see where they are going rather than “Xeno attack fodder”
Which is a huge compliment to the show, that I care so much about the characters

AGREED. And to further the point, the Xenos in “AlienS” were basically hive-mind drones, so I don’t think “Earth” treated it any less reverently than Cameron did. It’s all about context and I loved its presence in the show

Loved ALIEN: EARTH btw if anyone cares

“People wanting a substantially less interesting show” is 100% the takeaway I have reading fandom “critiques.” There should be more to Alien and its world than “Xeno Mayhem!” and I’m thrilled with what we got.
