"Eheh...n-not that I'm worried. I just...I'm scared, that's all. A battlefield's not where I thought I'd end up."

"My first real battle..."
(Going to also do my best to be more active on Lenna. I know I kinda wrote Sarah-mun into a little bit of a corner...)
"Wait! What do I even do to cast spells!?"
She reaches up, gripping the intensely heavy tome in her arm. She can barely even move with how dense the tome is, but still!
"Please, even just a hint. If you want me to learn this, than surely that much would be enough?"
(My basis for that is that she hasn't really had any combat training. She's mostly just been doing herb stuff, cooking, nothing too strenuous to help build up her muscles.)
(Little reference to the fact that Dark Tomes are really flippin' heavy in the earlier titles. Most mages get weighed down a ton by them, and I figure Lenna's Con is pretty similar to someone like Florina?)
you for answers? I guess that makes you my teacher?"
She catches the tome in her hands. It was really heavy, Lenna's legs buckled a bit from the weight!
"So heavy...no wonder you don't ever want to carry it on you."
Lenna nods to him though. She knew the assignment. She had to memorize the material.
"If I have questions, then I should come to
"Hmm...something of a transmutation thing, then?"
She brings a hand to rub her chin, thinking to herself. It would be a tool to use at least. Not quite the miracle that dedicated healers from the churches used, but it was more akin to her own treatments.
"I'd love to learn it..."
"That's quite a trick!"
She steps closer to grip his arm, examining it closely. That trained eye of hers looking for any sort of blemish.
"It's...it's completely healed. How did you manage it, Henry," she asks, now looking back up to him. Imagine the help she could be with such a power!

Squeak! Being swept off her feet was still a feeling Lenna had to get used to. She's gripping that staff close to herself as she's carried off though!
"It's quite alright! My name is Lenna, a pleasure to meet you!"
She doesn't even blink at the hand, though it had seen better days. Part of being a traveling apothacary.
"I've been told I have magic talent, but I really have yet to actually try it myself."
"Dark magic? I can't say I've heard of it before."
He did seem a little strange, but then, she was also rather strange in her own realm. Being an outcast from her own village for her own interest in herbology and all.
"New...girl?"
Blinking rather confusedly.
(Note that Lenna's relationship with her Linkle will be considered her canon ship. This account is multiship though.)

"I'll stay close to you then."
She knew very well that she was hardly a combatant. Being near Lyn would be best if she wanted to be safe! She leans gently on Lyn, still smiling.
"We should go back home for now, shouldn't we? One more night before we have to march..."
"Of course. If I didn't, and you came back home hurt, I'd feel guilty."
She's smiling at her girlfriend now.
"I know I can't convince you to not fight. So I'm going to be by your side so I don't lose you."
"I want to help! I don't want to stay at the yurt while you're risking your life on the battlefield."
She steps forward, gripping her staff in both of her hands.
"Even if I'm just staying in camp and healing your wounds after battle, I don't want to be left behind."
"Oh! I bought it while I was in town. I...I figured I could be some help on the battlefield."
She certainly was no fighter, but maybe if she was able to heal Lyn's wounds?
"You're going back to war, aren't you...? Back to battle?"
She stops with her twirling for a moment, turning her attention to Lyn.
"Lady Lyndis!"
She gives her a friendly smile!
Practicing with her staff in the field right now. Mainly just flourishing it, but at the very least she's learning more control over it?
She sits up as soon as she hears Lyn's footsteps, looking up at her as she embraces her.
"I don't mind being second place to the plains, Lyn. I know this is where your heart truly belongs."
That being said, she does nuzzle her cheek a bit.
"...I can so see why you love this place..."
She closes her eyes, breathing in deeply.
"I love it..."
"Mhm...it really is."
She tilts her head slightly to look over at Lyn. The plains of Sacae were just so peaceful...
"I'm so envious that you got to live out here all your life, Lyn."
Lenna's laying in a field, staring up at the night sky. Quite a nice view...the stars glistened so prettily in the countryside...
"Do you have any allergies, Lyn?"
