Last week in numeracy we started a new topic on data handling. We compared climates here to the rainforest and made a class bar graph of our favourite rainforest animals. #LearningAcrossTheCurriculum

Today we were practising taking away a teen number from a 2-digit number. We had some fabulous “teachers” demonstrating their techniques.

Today in writing we were describing a Scottish setting. Together we brainstormed some good describing words and phrases.
Afterwards we enjoyed looking at each other’s work and checking if we had remembered to include all the key features (punctuation, connectives and adjectives).
