THX-1138 is one of a handful of films (like Blade Runner, Eraserhead or Shinya Tsukomoto's Tetsuo: The Iron Man) that's listenable by itself

THX-1138 is one of my all time favorite films. The low budget made Lucas make some interesting creative decisions, which he completely erased when re-editing it decades later, adding CGI/SFX that were unnecessary and annoying. And, like OG Star Wars, he's kept the original out-of-print ever since.
