Hey fellow indie authors: I’ve been getting inquiries on my webpage about marketing a book of mine. The emails are well written (99% sure ChatGPT) and flatteringly describe my books (2 of them). Like I want to cut and paste as a review, they’re so good. But no info about the sender can be found. 🧐🤔

I really wish there was a way to block some people who repost others. I mean, if I wanted to continue to see that person I would follow them myself. Stop reposting EVERYTHING they've posted.

Rather disappointed about how many antisemites are on this platform. Not surprised, jut disappointed.

I don't post much lately, here or Threads. I think it's because I feel a heaviness on my chest, as I try to figure out how to navigate these next four years, and need to learn how to circumvent it. I need to get back to being ok with posting about the mundane or what makes me happy. I'll get there.

And while I think Lower Decks could have gone on longer (remember when Star Trek shows had 7 seasons?) they did a fantastic job of bringing it to a satisfying end. I'll miss Boimler, bearded of not, most of all.

Thumbs up to 2 of my favorite shows, What We Do In the Shadows and Star Trek: Lower Decks, that just had series finales.

Shadows ended perfectly by making it about the documentary crew having all the footage they need, but that end scene? Chef's kiss!

"CarryOn" on Netflix is OMG SO FUCKING AWFUL. We're watching 'cause husband read it was an Xmas movie (it's set on xmas eve) and I love the actors but oh shit this... Okay, husband just said it should be listed as a watchable B-movie that you laugh at while watching. I can get behind that.

Have an eye situation going on. Detached retina. Expected to take 8+ weeks to get my vision back. I'm almost at week 5 and am beginning to see improvement, so I'm feeling optimistic. Also, getting used to wearing the eyepatch. Or just keeping my left eye closed.
