Fandoms nowadays tend be so strict and literally tempted to blacklist anyone who has done mistakes in the past despite does not represent them anymore. What is the end goal here? Making things more miserable and so unnecessary that we don’t deserve it?

I still need to play Look Outside (curse my 650+ games backlog), but from what I'm hearing this person is a madman.
I want their insanity and dedication, I want to create massively impressive stuff as they do! gaahh curses!!
A cute image that reads "Everytime you repost this image a trans person gets hormone treatment and a transphobe dies"

Comic about a puppy experiencing artist struggles and burnout. They say; "By the time I'm done with my work and responsibilities, I have very little time to draw, but I still want to draw" followed by a simplistic version saying; "So this is the compromise! I draw anyways! It's just..a little less detailed. (I wish I could draw more but I'm physically tired all the time due to disability)"

girl after 8 hour shift with 3 hours of travel: "ONCE IM HOME I WILL BE ARTING SO HARD I-"

I avoided any and all content related to Smash Ultimate for 4 weeks because I didn't get it until Christmas 2018.
I avoided any and all spoilers for Deltarune Ch. 3+4 for a few weeks because I was still playing thru UT and DR 1 and 2.
You can avoid spoilers for TADC. It's hard, but it can be done
In a world where girls are still shamed for behaving or having any interests or personalities that deviate from gender norms or societies expectations of them I’ll always defend and adore characters like uzi
chronic procrastinator or executive dysfunction
incredibly difficult to focus this week, but i'm sure this is a personal failing and has nothing to do with the state of everything everywhere
I love being weird about games!
this is just loser behavior. I still don't understand the hate machine of singling out one game as a scapegoat of the period.
Wonder if i could apply it on steam deck and make it fully playable 🤔 (I've already played RE4 with HD mod on my pc) that'd be pretty sweet as re4 is one of my favs.
Comic of a puppy saying "I'm going to draw so many cool things!" Only to be stopped by metaphorical time
Artist struggles
This is basically where I stand now. I don't like gen-AI garbage at all, but every day it feels like there's more people just declaring anything they don't like MUST be machine-generated, and unless the artist can provide proof that it isn't, then they're an Enemy Of Mankind.
Let's not do that.
I recently got myself a deck and so far i only installed on it small indie stuff. Im suprised Pathfinder can be played? a CRPG? is it comfy to play it like that? because i'd imagine its a pain without mouse control.

when I talk about getting weirder, I also mean not being afraid to share when you *are* excited for stuff! I don't care how odd you may think it is!
Seconding all of this. I don't often talk about big-budget games because they're already plenty spoken for and don't need my help, but they often very good! Even the live-service and MMO stuff. Even the occasional gacha game (which I exclusively play free) is part of my broad & healthy gaming diet.
the nicest thing you can wish upon an artist in 2026 is that their work gains a small but dedicated cult following of kind hearted and politically shrewd weirdos & sickos that keep the fire going. the meanest thing you can wish upon an artist in 2026 is that their work gains a large online fandom
I really can't execute any foolish action. I haven't entered my jester modus or the courtly exchange where you can criticize the king for wearing that really obnoxious yellow cloak. What does she think she is, a literary concept?
I didn't know it was a special day today, but just yesterday I put a bunch of new wall decorations into the game.
"Every good game I've ever seen has eventually found its audience!"
every day i feel more justified in my hatred of AI. i've had a deep interest and love for technology my whole life, but lately i don't think i've ever felt more cynical about it
pathetic that gamers are only just opening their eyes to the economic and enviromental harm AI has brought now console prices are going up since RAM prices are through the roof.
Like people were telling you this shit was evil but now it's different becuase it suddenly affects your hobby? fuck offf
Invest in your friends’ OCs. It’s like being in a fandom, except you get the benefit of having the inside scoop, too.
Yes, show me the “bad” sketch, pitch me the shower thought… I love it.
a thing I've come to realize is that as an adult I enjoy many of the same games I did as a kid, but *differently*
as a kid there was magic and imagination and wonder and all those buzzwords
as an adult I learn more about how the mechanics work, how to play them better... I play to *understand*
