That might be at least in part down to the surface texture?
Like, something as simple as textured plastic just having more surface area than smooth night affect absorption rates.
A contact form reads: Subject: Checking Authenticity Body of message Hi there Beth. I have been contacted by someone who is using the email, [email blacked out], and using you name and one of your novels 'Feast of the Starving Stone: The Chef’s Five' to engage with me as a fellow author - if it is you then great, if it is not, as i suspect, then this is a fake approach. I just wanted to be sure. thanks. [signed name blacked out] You're a real person, right? No, I'm a bot. Please don't include existential questions in a contact form. Yes.
I just found out that an AI scammer is impersonating me in their spam campaign. I am LIVID.
Please, please share this post. Warn people. I’m horrified that someone might be ripped off in my name.
No one is safe from being impersonated like this.

Great now my brain is in an ideation spiral.
I'll manage, but fuck is it hard to spring out of it.
In this digital illustration, three baby dragons are sheltered from rain by their gigantic mama dragon. They are on a rooftop in front of a cityscape. The babies gaze up at their mom, smiling.

My father just came home.
He is drunk, despite knowing he has very little liver function remaining.
I think I need to get him professional help.
Oh yeh I have one of those, it did the exact same thing.
Stored in a non smoking home out of sunlight.
Those bromide chemicals just want out I guess.

Dear god, America found a way to commit crimes against cheese and vodka at the same time.
Please inform Max that the internet loves him.
Well, can't speak for everywhere, but in my town the pawn shops are consolidating and downsizing.
Usually that would be an indicator of good times, but here I genuinely get the feeling even the pawn shops aren't cheap enough for folks to afford anymore.
April 2: guards cut all phone access in the housing units without warning. When detainees protested, CRS officers allegedly punched a man, threw another to the ground, kicked him in the head, and pinned him by the neck. A third detainee's wrist was broken. The entire cage was pepper-sprayed.
