You actually don’t even need to modify your doc, as long as the TXT dns record is set it will resolve to you. In retrospect it probably should check whether or not you claim the handle as you, but that ship has sailed ⛵️

I suppose that at the end of the day they likely have valid reasons for choosing the current implementation, but I do think it would be interesting to have another more versatile option

Honestly my first thought when I saw the implementation was wondering why something along the lines of app.bsky.actor.externalLink wasn't added instead, with perhaps a different style on the frontend for specific apps like germ. Then people could choose what buttons they want to put on their profile

I think it would be cool to extend lexicons and store them in the generic collection so I could make org.tristie.graph.block that extends app.bsky.graph.block but also has an expiry time or something of the like, and then store it in the app.bsky.graph.block collection to indicate compatibility
