My impression of that was that it was a farm-sim style game. I’d be interested if that also wasn’t a genre that was very very played out by this point, but hey maybe they make really good use of the pals in it who knows

It is fun to see new pokemon! But just looking them up gives me that same amount of enjoyment. You may find the gameplay fun, but I find it pretty darn boring

I can’t say I feel the same way! The formula just hasn’t appealed to me for a very very long time.

Pokeopia looks okay but they’re cowards for forcing ditto to be human

It’s pretty funny that as much as the game tries to lean into the “oh isn’t it edgy how you’re forcing these guys to work” there’s nothing that endears me to pals more than seeing them running around cooking and mining and then taking breaks in the spa

Anyways. Next time for sure, right guys?

Many legal battles have been waged against Palworld over the way it summons creatures but if they were smart they’d take a look at how much people like the integration of monsters into base building and realize that they really need to do something new with these guys that isn’t turn based battleing

Pokemon as a whole has started to feel like a framework for fandom more than anything. It might be why I still enjoy pmd (and would continue to enjoy if they released new games) because it feels like that takes existing species and concepts and put them in a world and gameplay I find more engaging

I don’t feel much interest in the new pokemon gen teaser, but in fairness to gamefreak once I realized I could get the same level of enjoyment that I would playing the game by just looking at bulbapedia dex entries a week after release and looking at fanart, every new main game became tough sell
