The Israeli/Gaza conflict is truly abhorrent; however, it's certainly not the only atrocity. For instance Somalia is experiencing a severe, overlapping crisis driven by intense conflict with militants. Over 4.4 million people require urgent food aid. Why chide those eliciting support for any cause?

This reminds me of the envy I felt when the US voted in Obama while we had a conservative in power. I am proud of Carney and that Canadians support him. I think that the disaster unfolding south of us continues to focus voters in this positive direction.

The motivation for the kill is not known. The fine and hunting ban were issued because the individual was found guilty of discharging a firearm down the traveled portion of a roadway, hunting moose without a license and possessing illegally killed wildlife. It's legal to hunt moose in Ontario.
I have been vegetarian (ovo-lacto) for over 35 years. It's a choice that I wouldn't impose, nor pontificate on meat eaters. Hunting for the meat you consume is an honest conscious decision. Whereas purchasing it from supermarkets removes the reality of what you're consuming & meat production.
