Honestly I'm a bit nervous about all of it, but more nervous about my vision getting even worse, as progressive conditions do. Hopefully it goes well though! I know I'm lucky to have insurance, though the doctor said my plan is kinda notorious for being a pain in the ass over the treatment? Sounds like only one of my eyes qualifies for coverage right now as it is, and even with just one eye it's going to be... a lot, yay insurance! 😩
Part of the reason I'm on a break is because I've been getting a lot of medical things checked! If you ever noticed me struggle to read some text or wondered why my game UI is big, it's because I can't see! Turns out I have a progressive eye condition and now I have to rely on US medical insurance!
Three months since I started my hiatus but I miss streaming! I'm not quite in a space where I'm ready to come back just yet, but I really hope everyone is doing okay! I know a lot is happening out in the world. When things feel overwhelming, take some time to breathe, okay? You got this.
