Yes, I recorded the video playing with two controls myself xD

Ship Miner is a relaxing mining experience that merges combat elements and 1-bit pixel art aesthetics.
Can be optionally played in teams (I play with my kids) of 2 to 4 players now (currently in private beta).

It's been a while since I do a semi technical blog post but here I am, sharing my second part of the "how I use ECS in my games" series (in 2.5y I will write the 3rd part xD):

If you are using ECS, would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reading!
And here some mockups I did before testing ingame, all kinda share the same shape idea, but there are a couple that are a bit different that feel interesting to test ingame too at some point. In my next mockup iteration I will try to break the shape a bit more.
Testing some basic/naive visual ideas to differentiate ship for when the player unlocks new ships, find other NPC miners in the galaxy and/or for possible local coop (not defined yet)
The Galactic Mining Corp can always send more miners to to do the job... or die trying...
(I was just testing a possible respawn sequence for Ship Miner)
Ship Miner is participating in the Tiny Roguelikes event! #TinyRoguelikes weeeeee!

Happy new year!!! 🍻 I hope this is the year for Ship Miner release! 🚀
For those who don't know, Ship Miner is a relaxing mining experience that merges combat elements and 1-bit pixel art aesthetics.
Demo available on Steam! 🥳
Every year I take some time to write a review about it and my expectations for the next one personally and for my projects. I mention both Cleared Hot and Ship Miner in my review, here it is if you want to read it:

Ethan Hawke is a dude 👌🏻
Cool! I added this line to PancitoMerge's credits a couple weeks ago, glad to see many others are pushing the same idea in different ways.
Me too, still has its challenges xD
I'm a Solodev here making a minimalistic pixelart 1bit miner game by the name of "Ship Miner"
Gather minerals, improve your ship and survive threats.
Demo available on Steam right now!
It's live! 🚨 Cleared Hot has launched into Steam early access !! 🚁💥
We are thrilled with the response so far. Thanks to everyone who has been playing, sharing, and giving us feedback. 🙏
Play it now on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/1710820/...
When you start playing being a gamdev and decide to implement your own pathfinding solution (because you know, there are not 100 already), instead of making the actual game xD.
I promise having path finding will make sense in the game later.
After years of building, it’s finally happening 🤯
Cleared Hot launches into Steam Early Access on Nov 20, 2025!
Can't believe I just typed that. Only 3 weeks away 😮 Any help sharing is appreciated ❤️

Random video but with full audio (music too) in this case.
Random note: 1-bit graphics are difficult to read from videos/screenshots but they have some kind of magic. Also, they are easier to assimilate by playing the game (demo available btw).
Can a simple Ship Miner save the Universe?
A new episode is out today! Check out here youtu.be/X68IIH4gYlA Where I interview @arielsan.bsky.social where we talk about the challenges of designing for a 1bit art style and lo-fi asteroid mining.
