I would make a list that excludes politicians but has everyone else, like you suggested, but logistically making a new list would be very tricky as I don't think there's functionality to copy an existing list. If there is I'd be happy to do so and give people the choice though!

I raised this before, as I set up a list solely for governmental bodies and thought a politician one would be useful, but feedback was generally to keep it as it is, as having a separate list just for MPs would weaken it.
