Good news for your local brewery: we’re extending alcohol excise tax relief for 2 more years.

That’ll save Canadian breweries up to $90,000 in taxes this year.

Alice Augusta Ball found the cure for leprosy at 23.

She died in a mysterious lab accident at 24.

Arthur Dean stole her research, stole it and renamed it from "The Ball Method" to "The Dean Method."

It took 90 years before her original research papers were found and she got the credit due to her.

To whoever did this at the #NoKings in Boston: Thank you.❤️

It made me tear up. And we must to be reminded of needless damage to humanity that results directly from the careless, bellicose bluster coming from the Pentagon and White House.

Quite a bit of variability in the rainfall measurements from this morning. Several reports over 60mm over SW areas... and still heavy downpours continue.

A few flurries this am in brisk north winds; clearing this aftn.
Rain develops Monday afternoon (starts as ice N NB & N CB) and continues into Tuesday with strong south winds. Heavy rain and snow melt will result in a risk of flooding.
Fine Wed and Thursday. Snow to rain Friday & Sunday?

Fall River the first to report 15cm.
I cleared a path through my snow… the 9cm contained 13.6mm of water. Pretty heavy and slushy stuff.
