this is enforcing the rules not morality- vrabel isn't employed by the athletic. if you respect the woman, you respect she signed a contract including a code of conduct re: "highest standards of journalism": www.nytimes.com/athletic/edi...

ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER back in theaters before oscars, finally saw it on big screen. Highly recommended- like most PTA films has incredible characters, novel story but with big buget action sets. Probably most mainstream of all PTA movies (my pta favs remain THERE WILL BE BLOOD and BOOGIE NIGHTS).

not really but perhaps even less so if you left out the part about working w/them full time and just focused on the immediate collab opportunity and let things take their natural course?

Consumer illiteracy is a problem, but the news orgs deteriorated too. CNN runs docs on Walter Cronkite [sic] and I've seen anchors point out- a different time, there were only 3 channels so he could have principles. At some level the journs have to please the bosses, and bosses want audience capture

Americans fault news media for dividing nation: AP-NORC poll Ask them about the impact the news media has on democracy, and Americans are likelier to say it's doing more harm than good. A new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Researc...

teens get a lot of their ideas from adults including their parents, and if you've ever met adults they are often just as stupid about fact checking: apnews.com/article/poll... But i also agree that cable TV news became as much about entertainment as it is about news. CNN turned into 'Access DC'

i think it's cyclical. losing dvd revenue made studio execs more conservative. tarantino regularly opinines rn is a horrible time for movies and it reminds him of the 80s.

this would be a fun one to figure out. you'd have to figure out not just their economic impact but their inflation-adjusted multiplier. since cos like fedex/NBSF prob have big multipliers, and standoil/jpm/ibm/unionpacific prob had big multipliers and huge share back in their days

you're a pretty big content creator. how do you find and curate all these papers? do you have a custom arxiv feed parser and summarizer?

It's amazing how far I have gotten with Makefiles considering that the concept of targets being files went over my head for so long. Credit to the UX that you don't have to know this to get value out

i think it also might make the case more compelling for msft to acquire vscode-based startups

we've got different crawlers! :) i thought 'touch grass' meant when you stop working, like anywhere from a 1min break to a sabbatical, but google seems a little bit more specific. anyways- app-idea: improving my current physical experience if i am in a spot right now?

hadar- cheers on your holiday. also made me want to ask- does your app have a touch grass feature, or just the benefit?

fwiw when i deleted the purple 'any of these' sections, there was nothing left. also that list of rules is REALLY hard to read. until you sent me the partial zoomed-in screenshot i thought it was just a fake placeholder graphic.
