The smart response to that is not to yell “end of capitalism” and “eat the rich” it’s to show how healthcare tied to jobs is an economic burden and reduces productivity in the workforce and hence overall economy. It also costs employers a lot.

1001 Afternoons in Chicago by Ben Hecht. I read it in undergrad at DePaul and it felt so real and close 75 years later. Chicago is the main character, that’s why I loved it. It was all about the city I love.
