This is from a painting I actually did recently with the same title inspired by a @thestormydaniels.bsky.social quote.

Who dresses him in the morning? $10 says it polyester or, in my wife’s world, way too flammable for air travel.

“Ploy’s Gunmetal Dream of Perfect Teeth” (acrylic on paper, 16 in. X 20 in.)
#abstractart #abstractonpaper #V #thomaspynchon inspired.

This one was inspired by part of a passage (pic 2) in the opening pages of Thomas Pynchon’s novel V. It is one of my all-time favorite funny scenes in fiction.

I stopped a delivery driver I was expecting from going to my neighbor when I asked him if he was after my address (my neighbor never gets food delivered). The guy actually argued with me, despite the address numbers big as day on my porch, that his GPS said my neighbor was the correct address.🤯

“Autobiography of a Young Alcoholic Writer” (acrylic on canvas, 12 in. X 12 in.)

The blackout poem in the detail pic comes a short story of mine published in Crimeucopia: Totally Pyscho Logical. I got sober in Philadelphia decades ago, hence the autobiography in the title.

Thank you. I have this conversation about “female” as a noun every semester with students. It’s a tough sell with criminal justice majors.

Jesus Christ. Happy Hour Hegseth couldn’t hold a candle to Colin Powell and the rest he’s trying to erase.
