This one was inspired by part of a passage (pic 2) in the opening pages of Thomas Pynchon’s novel V. It is one of my all-time favorite funny scenes in fiction.
I stopped a delivery driver I was expecting from going to my neighbor when I asked him if he was after my address (my neighbor never gets food delivered). The guy actually argued with me, despite the address numbers big as day on my porch, that his GPS said my neighbor was the correct address.🤯
