I’m always gonna get a good laugh out of this supposed bike lane that’s narrower than my bars. Today it had less cars parked so I could stay right more but the last bit was fun with SUVs passing on the left and also parked on the right 🥴

Quickly discovering how insanely complicated and ridiculously big eight sculptures can be when they’ve been packed away into storage for many years. Just gotta figure out the very large foundations and a thousand other things

Carryin all my junk home cause I officially left my old job of 10.5 years and now I go something a bit new. Hard hats are uniquely annoying to pack since the shape is so weird.

Remembering all the years I would drive incredibly far, or just over to NM and the vast BLM land outside EP and sleep in the back seat or the bed of the truck and eat PBJ, spam, and cans of beans with a few hot dogs to see as much as I could for only gas money and a 3 day weekend.

Cold and snowy lately and it’s been fun.

The LRT stations to the south of Denver along I25 have a lot of this kinda thing goin on. So many are behind parking lots and stuff. You see signs up saying you’re not allowed to walk through certain lots to get to the station. Had to jump fences with my bike before too 😬

Out testing a new setup with the Cross Check. Gonna try a sorta touring/bikepacking overnighter ride tomorrow.

Cherry Creek trail in Denver isn’t perfect but it’s so damn useful and connects sooooo nice to many other routes that I’d say it’s my favorite. I use the western portion around downtown the most. To the SE though there’s loads of fun lil single track to play on.

It was 18° when I woke up this morning but we just completely skipped fall and jumped into winter this week in Denver.

The 9 bus might be one of the best at ghosting me. I sure do hate trying to get a ride west of I25 with RTD.
