Being slightly facetious, but are people so anxious about this race, not because the fear of not winning the title, but because of the fear of not wanting to be called bottlers, or hear the second again song?

@kirkwinstanley.bsky.social thanks for posting all the positivity! I think it's tight, but we can still do it π
Ah shur she's a great girl and will surely be well reviewed by the big man π Happy Christmas to you and your John
Making our Christmas TV plans, starting with @johncreedon.bsky.social Creedon Christmas - who needs Home Alone?
Hard one to quantify, but if we assume Chelsea were edging it at 11 Vs 11 - how much of that was attributed to how they were allowed to be overly physical? Caciedo pushing the limits without being booked was part of their game plan.
They are there on merit at the moment, but you have to imagine that their summer exploits will come back to haunt them towards the end of the year?
I think he has to be considered first choice on the left really doesn't he. He's in super form πͺ
When he came he reminded me a bit of Cazorla, but the more I see of him the more like Ljunberg he becomes. A fighter, brilliant movement and a finisher - love him. Maybe a mix of Cazorla and Ljunberg π
City look like a team with plenty of fresh players while Liverpool look like a group that's playing on tired legs.
Jesus isn't this how Mad Max started π
He's in control of the ball from his first touch, the Chelsea player impedes him if anything.
Balogoun too, ah we have done well enough, it's hard for any club to sell underperforming players on big contracts. You could say all the lads we have ready for sale have question marks over fitness (Zinny, Nelson, Sambi, Jesus) and only Sambi is probably on a small contract
Ultimately what we have is at best a parasocial relationship with these guys. We want to believe the best when it's out team, but thats a bias we can't really prove out. We get so cross when G Nev or Carra do it
Is there perhaps a somewhat toxic aspect to fandom, even from some of the accepted podcasters? I personally believe that as soon as sport analysis dives into judging of character for better or worse it becomes toxic.
I was thinking about this reaction, it's probably partly in jest but you just know people will latch onto this and Ramsdale will get dogs abuse for it. What is he supposed to do? keep playing in the championship or possibly play for more relegation fodder. I wish him the well

Adam I only discovered your YouTube channel last month, it might be an Irish bias but I enjoy them thoroughly. I'm learning something on every watch π
Love this, Iβve been thinking a lot about the use data analytics to understand what a player has been doing historically and trying to make predictions about future performance. In particular the context of players who suddenly explode. Would be cool to see examples of past players who have done so.
Wow, an absolute class act! β€οΈβ€οΈ
What a beautiful day, 3 generations of my moms family together swimming in Duneen beach in West Cork remembering my mom who loved this place so much β€οΈ
π π hopefully theyβll all be delighted when we win the league
π― the analysis is great and very enjoyable, but it seems to have the effect of people taking positions on trying to predict the future, the focus moves from supporting to βbeing in the knowβ
Super day out in Croke Park. Great atmosphere, super skill on show from the hurlers and loads of lovely pints with my mates π
Jaysus my timeline on here is a bit glum, the world needs more Al Green π youtu.be/sOY99k4uyMg?...
Nice read, I got this years ago with my red membership. Back in the days when you would get a member pack every year
But at least Kevin Doyle called us likeable! Haha I have been conditioned by G Nev, Keane and Cara to believe everyone hates us

Slainte π
He has form, and from what I can see VAR has form in not looking at him
