Am I the only one starting to worry that the current roguelike trend is showing no signs of stopping and is a sign of straightforward intentional game/puzzle design becoming less and less present?

Every game nowadays is "genre but roguelike" and it gives me AI game omens on the horizon...

All the people I look up to and respect don't need AI to create their awesome work and I 100% think less of and ignore people's work the second they go "I used ai to __" like fuck off. And if you need to be sneaky about being dumb, lazy and unethical with your work maybe you should just quit.
