Amazon review of the Jordan Peterson parody book by "Peter Jordanson" called "The Silencing of Me". The review reads: My 8-year old nephew wanted a Tonka truck for his birthday, but I got him the gift of Dr. Jordanson's insight instead. Wisdom lasts longer, even if the recipient calls you a "poopy head" in the moment.

There are historical cases where disease determined the course of war or was even responsible for more casualties than the enemy.
I was wondering if someone had collected examples. I didn't look far, but stumbled on this, which might be useful for you.

This, of course, tracks the plot of The Day of the Jackal! Horne doesn't cite a source, and I can't find anything. It sounds off particularly because, as Horne tells it, they wouldn't have that kind of money.
One thing bothers me. Horne mentions an early OSA assassination plot against de Gaulle. It involved hiring a professional for 40 million francs, half to be paid up front. The assassin supposedly took the up-front payment, notified authorities, and disappeared.
I've never watched it myself, but I read Horne's A Savage War of Peace recently. Great book!
It might take more than one is all.

You. You are broken. Broken by shouldering so much of the burden of American religion reporting.
Anyway, hire more religion reporters.

The most detestable protagonist ever. As a teen the books struck me, though, as head and shoulders above most of the other fantasy books I read.
Consciousness and Society? Nothing of substance there except a mention.
