I donate blood regularly (literally just got home from donating) and have never been asked about caffeine. They recommend not drinking a bunch right after donation because your HR&BP are already gonna swing. But have never been told to hold off for any specific pre-draw time. Go donate, don't worry.

I was going to point out that it's actually quite common practice, as then you get milk from the cows and can sell the calves for meat because they bulk up faster than dairy calves... and then remembered that means dire things for Elsie's babies and we're right back to heartache.
