1) Good Omens is and always was a classical 3-act-comedy. This has been confirmed by several people involved.
A comedy ends happy. And the 2nd act did exactly what a 2nd act in a comedy has to do.
2) The end will be Sir Terrys vision. Who NEVER wrote anything with a bad ending.
