I have been spending available morning time doing “morning pages.” These were created Jan 20-25, 2025. I don’t feel like I’m done screaming yet.
I wore my Protect Trans Kids hoodie today and got So Many compliments. I joked that it might get me arrested. I got into a chat with a person who performs drag wanting to know how to do more. I’m noodling on this problem of exposing folks who would not normally go to a drag performance.
Art is good for speaking TRUTH to Power. I did not print this, but I sure do have some things cooking.
My 11-year-old sat across the table from me yesterday and clearly expressed her sexual orientation and gender expression.
I thanked her for the trust in me. I asked her permission to share with the people closest to our family. I reminded her that love from me remains, no matter how they show up.
“When women are free to make their own decisions about their lives and to follow our dreams, we are unstoppable.”
