I just walked past Senate President Stuart Adams at the Davis County GOP convention.
He has called me a "former journalist" and "unethical" on social media after I wrote a story he didn't like.
Adams tried to give me a fist bump. I just shook my head and kept walking.

On this Good Friday, we remember Spock died for the needs of the many.
It was a lightbulb moment for me the first time I read about the concepts of vertical and horizontal morality. People who ascribe to vertical morality justify anything that they do, no matter how heinous, by claiming that it’s God’s will. Horizontal morality does good for the sake of being good.

Way to go spoiling the end of the game for us.
My spouse and I have talked about leaving Utah off and on. The kids are in school and tied to their friends. We don't want to take them away from that. And we have many ties too with community and friends.
I just wish the dominant religion and political drama was not a thing.
