A grim season has reached its inevitable conclusion. Wolves are relegated.
If there is one positive from a horrible campaign, it is that they have had time to plan for the future. A look here at those plans and where the club stand. @theathleticfc.bsky.social #WWFC

Hard to see the away fans from the press box at Elland Road but it looked like there were some angry gestures directed towards Edwards and his players at the end. They're within their rights, too. There is a way to go down, and the last 2 games haven't been it. #WWFC
Not that there's any doubt how the season is going to end, but Wolves will be officially relegated if Spurs win at home to Brighton this evening and/or West Ham avoid defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday. #WWFC
FULL-TIME
LEEDS 3-0 WOLVES
Just an insipid Wolves display. They have been worse this season on a few occasions but they've also been much better recently, too. They have reverted in the last 2 games to conceding terrible goals, which for a team that doesn't create a great deal is fatal. #WWFC
3-0 Leeds. Calvert-Lewin blasts home the penalty himself after VAR confirms the decision to award it. Definite foul, so offside was the only thing VAR had to rule on. #WWFC
Penalty to Leeds. Hugo Bueno bundles Calvert-Lewin over. Looked offside but the first replay I've seen suggests not. VAR checking. Bueno booked. #WWFC
Minimum of 10 minutes' added time here. Should add, that Wolves don't look likely to score twice if it was 110. #WWFC
Armstrong has the ball in the net for Wolves with a lovely finish after racing onto a through-ball but the offside flag goes up. Decision upheld by VAR. #WWFC
Delay here as the linesman on the far side goes off injured and is replaced by the 4th official, who peels off his tracksuit to reveal a linesman's kit, superman-style. But now we're having to wait as he gets wired up to the comms equipment. #WWFC
In fact, Krejci has gone off after a lengthy spell of treatment. Hwang on. #WWFC
A spate of shoving prompted by Krejci's challenge on Aaronson and the Leeds player's angry reaction. He shoves Krejci in the back and rightly gets booked but Krejci goes down holding the back of his head, which is not a great look. #WWFC
3-on-2 break for Wolves with Hugo Bueno picking out Rodrigo Gomes. He shoots wide when he had to either hit the target or play it inside to Armstrong. Wolves on top now but hard to see them turn it into 2 goals. #WWFC
Rodrigo Gomes on for Bellegarde. #WWFC
Superb save from Darlow to keep out a Krejci header from a corner. #WWFC
Rob Edwards booked for his reaction to Mane not being given a free-kick. No idea what he said but he slammed his water bottle down, so was obviously very unimpressed. #WWFC
Pedro Lima on for Tchatchoua for Wolves. Second half underway. #WWFC
HALF-TIME
LEEDS 2-0 WOLVES
For much of the game Wolves haven't been too far off a Leeds side who have been very much on it. Wolves not great, but not terrible.
But for those 3 minutes they were all over the place, hence they will probably lose another game. #WWFC
Change for Wolves. Mane on for Angel Gomes. Edwards and Gomes discuss what looks like an injury and Gomes heads down the tunnel with a member of Wolves staff. #WWFC
Average stuff from Wolves for the first goal as Bentley makes a good save from Ampadu, they fail to react and Justin scores an overhead kick.
Dreadful for the second as Toti plays a terrible pass, Aaronson delivers a superb cross and Okafor finishes.
2 goals in 3 mins, just like at West Ham. #WWFC
GOAL. 2-0. Okafor doubles the lead. #WWFC
GOAL. Justin puts Leeds 1-0 up. #WWFC
Toti has started in the middle of Wolves' back 3, so Santi Bueno has shifted across to the right but Krejci has stayed in his familiar left-sided role. #WWFC
Early test for Bentley, who saves from Calvert-Lewin, spills it but manages to gather eventually. Fast start from Leeds. #WWFC
Teams out at Elland Road on the day Wolves' relegation could be confirmed. Toti in for the suspended Mosquera.
Both Sa and Johnstone out with shoulder injuries so Dan Bentley plays in goal. Otherwise unchange from the West Ham starting XI. #WWFC
FULL-TIME
WEST HAM 4-0 WOLVES
So much to like about Wolves for the first 35 minutes but so much to dislike about their defending in the subsequent 55. It doesn't change anything in the bigger picture but it's a pretty spectacular way for a nice run of form to end. #WWFC
Edozie on in place of Joao Gomes. No point risking a 10th Gomes yellow card in a lost cause. #WWFC
Wolves fans streaming out now. The defending in the second half has been really poor after they did so much right before half time. #WWFC
GOAL. Mavropanos with an overhead kick. 4-0. #WWFC
Double change for Wolves. Mosquera and Armstrong off, Hwang and Arokodare on. #WWFC
Two goals in 3 minutes for Castellanos, both down in part to poor defending, and it's suddenly game over. #WWFC
