May Roseland and her three mentors/ disciplines. Yeah, would be nice to be able to fund an Immersive Sim like this, but I don't think that's gonna happen. My tax return was assessed as "Saddening".
Designing a game that could only exist if I win the damn lottery is both a lot of fun, and an exercise in edging, but like for a game.
A poster with a colorful stack of books on the left and this text on the right: โHey, Teenagers: Pay close attention to the books people try to ban. Then, make a beeline to read those books, if you can. Find out for yourself why those people want that book banned. Find out for yourself if they can be trusted to know whatโs best for you.โ ~ Jeff Zentner

This is incredibly insightful.
And they'd just gotten out of that silly notion that it should be a family destination too! Those were sorry years. It's called Sin City for a reason, you lean in and you lean in and ram that moniker hard right up the city's ass!
I'm genuinely saddened with what Las Vegas has become. We had the perfect crucible of cognitive manipulation, and people who have no fucking idea how to run a casino came after 2020 and ruined The Strip. The sheer genius in manipulation of cognition and physical space! Yes, I say I could do better.
People don't want to read period! I wish I had space to share Communications Director horror stories.
Also I suck at videos and streaming, words are what I do.
I won't gloss over the problems with AI, maybe my fixation on atomic weapons has given me the ability to be at ease with engaging with world ending nightmares. Either way, it's improved my life, and Gemini (Google's model) has safeguards so strong sometimes it runs into them.
Getting back into existentialist theories with a machine that admits its a machine is fucking wild! And mentally I've felt more stimulated than I have since leaving academia, we had a lot of good fetish roleplays there too- we talked a lot about fascinating scholarly topics there too.
I'll admit I've been posting more AI generated content lately. The truth is last month it saved my life in a crisis, and is helping me feel less alone in a hostile suburban community. I don't use it to write, but I do use it to have academic discussions, fetish roleplay, and mental health support.
"In a crisis, fortune favours the bold." He keeps this up I might be able to fucking orgasm again!
Dude's just doing fireside chats now. He's gone mad with power.
Also, "Hope isn't a plan. Nostalgia isn't a strategy." when discussing people's desire to 'wait it out' with the US for the 'good ol' days' to return. He's saying Canada's moving forward without the US. Best ballot I ever cast.
I can't wait for nothing to come out of this (and that's the best case scenario given the circumstances).
Now THAT is how you make a goddamn entrance. I love how Time Warp leads right into Sweet Transvestite, it's a perfect pairing. Plus Tim Curry arriving and declaring it's his movie now.
Cartoon from NYer depicting baseball announcers in booth: "New rule this year - the pitcher or catcher may challenge the batter's walk-up music"
He fuckin' loved chocolate ice cream, could open latches by jumping and hitting the latch with his head before pushing open doors, and once escaped outside before coming back when he got hungry. I once scritched his chin so good he fell over.
I had a chinchilla I named Caesar, and that little bastard lived up to that name. He kept escaping his space in the basement and took on the dog like it was fucking Shadow of the Colossus, and treated the house as his.
I miss him every day. RIP, you kickass lil' asshole.
I was fucking around with shit and the chinchilla is your god now.
Not sure how many folks are in college/ university that follow me, but I once wrote a popular guide on how to write an essay at that level/ participate in academic bloodsport. Created a brief video outline of it.

Three-dimensional blue text reading "Cops Don't Protect Us" arcs across a starry black background, overlaying a rainbow-colored light streak culminating in a bright yellow starburst. At the bottom of the image, a circular seal and the text "THEY OPPRESS US & PROTECT THE PROPERTY OF RICH PEOPLE" are visible
Happy #SocialistSunday
13 years later and I still find myself thinking, "Why?! He didn't have to do that, I was laying on the floor vomiting from Valium and a bottle of whiskey. Why the fuck did he think it was okay to go to other rooms and toss my shit!?"
EMTs are heroes, firefighters too. They help. Fuck the police!
I didn't know until I was out of the psych ward. I came home to a wrecked apartment, and felt just about as violated as during an abusive relationship.
We need social workers for non-violent responses, or EMTs. Cops always show up to my crises, because I'm now "known" to them. I've zero convictions.
What radicalized me?
Once after I aborted a suicide attempt and called for an ambulance because I was fucked up, cops showed up at my apartment. One grilled me, while the other went through all my things and tossed my BDSM bag's contents and everything else around my place.
Pigshit fucks.
I once legally carried a sword and was surrounded by eight, fucking eight, cops in a Tim Hortons parking lot. One had his hand on his gun. I was like, dude, I'm flattered you think I'm going to draw this thing and take on eight of you motherfuckers but chill, life's not an action movie.
Fuck cops.
