Seems like a *potential* risk for Crawford if he has ground ball location tendencies? Do you know if there are ever conversations to ban them? Seems ridiculous for other sports. Imagine a QB pre-snap taking out a cheat sheet to read the defense. On the sideline (in the dugout) sure! Mid play? Cmon.

Are the rules different in the minor leagues regarding fielders keeping positioning notes on them? I think it’s pretty dumb they’re allowed to do that in the majors. Remembering a players tendencies is part of sports, and only baseball gets a cheat sheet in-play, but maybe it’s not that impactful?
