This kit originally came out almost 30 years ago, I'm sure modern perfect grade have come a long way. It's still a cool one and I'm loving building it, but the pipes are annoying. Gotta do the cut and sand stuff for 18 little nubs and then the end pieces.
That's what has you shocked? Not the SCREW? But yeah no, you put those things on a spring that's held in place by screws. I'll likely have to stretch it to get it to the right length to hold them all the pipe pieces and then screw the other end into where it goes so it's held in place at that length
I hate these pipes so much, not looking forward to it when I get home from work or do it tomorrow morning or when I next work on this kit. #gunpla

Trying to grind for Voruna Prime in Warframe and while grinding for void traces I've ended up through sheer luck with Protea and Velox Prime and am most of the way to Cedo Prime and Vadarya Prime. I have a Vadarya Prime riven so that works out but I wasn't aiming for it.
