Being a Pom person, I can see lots of practical reasons to employ toy breeds:
Less scary to lost kids and seniors with dementia
Lower maintenance costs (lower food and grooming costs)
Gives them a job they need to be mentally stable
Poms are either smart or dumbasses, and the smart ones are super.

I think people have lots of genuine reasons to be mad at billionaires, corporations and government officials but don't have places for that growing anger and frustration to go, so then it ends up in interactions with other people

I used something very similar as my icon on Twitter. My thoughts are warm.
