I dunno, feels like every other article is about the polys these days.

Oh he's way past knowyourmeme level. Just do a google search.
Don't forget librarianism! I know two people who went to library school and at least half attributed it to this movie.
I see we had the same childhood.
Spending a year convinced you're going to be made into a limbless human pet any day now?
Watching people discover The Human Pet Guy is like that xkcd comic about being in the like 10k, every damn time.
Except it's not lucky. The other thing.
Using CGI to add Minions to The Killing Fields.
Everyone needs a chance to interview for a job and then end up turning down the offer. Good damn it's a rush.
Anything involving the Raid movies is the correct take.
Also, you know, an ugly, early preventable death.
Nah, there's a good reason ADHD meds took off when people stopped smoking. Nicotine + way too much caffeine works for that shit.
Putting StS and EtG in the same category of game feels wrong.
(And EtG is fun but feels a bit stingy on the "make you feel like a badass when the correct items drop" front that make these games so much fun.)
What, you think she'll just take a dump right there? Seems unlikely.
I don't understand why more nerds don't have pet parrots.
how do you pronounce that -ppj though?
I've 100% left for the airport 4 hours early to get away from a work event before. It was great.
I take two flights in the morning.
I take two flights at night.
I take two flights before I take two flights,
and then I take two more.
If I'm flying out, that last bit of time is just going to be me nervously killing time anyway. Might as well have plenty of time at the airport and relax.
What are you, some kind of feminist? *spits, grabs balls, farts*
My, very female, partner does the no carryon thing no problem.
But then when you are done you have your special vacation underwear that you will remind you of your time every time you use them.
I can, and have, travelled for a month+ out of a, largish, backpack. That said sometimes I check it just because it's easier to take my day bag on the plane and not worry about space or people who put way too much stuff in the overheads.
4/20 and the rain is coming down and as someone who lives too close to parts of the city that become a giant party of stoners, too many of which drive here, I am so damn happy.
It makes Israel look like the exact thing they say they are defending themselves from. Israel's entire argument is that they are fighting an existential fight against a population that would wipe them and their religion off the face of the middle east at best. (And there's a bit too that!)
Trying to figure out what the current state of tariffs are and still completely failing and I hate this fucking government that runs based on some doddering old man's whims and not the rule of law.
Well, AI. Not AGI, because I don't think what we are seeing is AGI, and there's an incomprehensible gap between the two. And yes, how people are using AI can be a bad fit and harmful to society and yes, create content generation is one of those bad fits and yadda yadda yadda.
I really don't like that it leads to tactical primary voting. Save that for the actual elections, should be for a chance for the party members to vote on their direction for the near future.
But also, AGI is a legit new software technology in a field that has had lots of advancements but that in the last decade or so has fumbled hard on get rich schemes masquerading as revolutionary advances, and hasn't seen anything really exciting in too long.
I think it's two part. First the tech elites are getting old and handling the terror of death even worse than previous generations of elites. Probably because they are pretty bad at spending that money on things that will last (well beyond companies.)
Age, not time, makes fools of us all.
