This is my periodic remembering that Bluesky actually exists.

Why was Boris Johnson sacked as nativity manager?
He couldn't run a stable government!
I hate how much I love this. π
Yes. This experiment will work if you make it your own. Customize your experience, build new ones, make a social network that can be controlled by the people who use it an idea we do not go back on.
In all seriousness though, I actually understand the rebrand now. I hope future cars also keep the old jaguar logo as a subtle nod to their roots but the rebrand is fresh for this future iteration of cars. Hopefully they push the boat out for production models and not release boring SUVs.
I imagine the ideal customer for this car is Lady Penelope
Sentences I thought I'd never write: Ed Davey has overtaken Ed Sheeran.

Assissted dying enjoys great support amongst the British public, so of course it's massively controversial and near enough 50/50 among our not at all out of touch "representatives" in parliament
I'll buy it if someone leaks the 2015 I Really Like You music video. π
My immediate reaction was that this can't be all that has happened in 5 months and outside some small bits, this really does sum it up quite effectively.
What I find funny is that outside of asking farmers to pay HALF as much inheritance tax as normal people, and calling some people burning down mosques racists, not that much has actually happened under Kier Starmer, yet theyβve whipped themselves up into such a wild frenzy. Literally brainless.

Welcome to the other side @pkendrickwig.bsky.social
It is certainly apt that on the last weekday operation of the Rossendale town routes under Transdev that they have thrown out a bus clad with Burnley Bus Company branding rather than Rossendale branding to cement the image of the brand being diluted away.
Latterly, Rosso became the dumping ground for routes that Transdev didn't invest in, such as the X41 and school contracts, such that the identity diluted further.
Now after 117 years of operation and 7 years in private ownership, Rosso has finally succumbed and a new operator has entered the fray.
Alongside the closure of the Haslingden depot, displacing all their routes into the surrounding towns with the popular 464 and 481 being handed to Blackburn and the 483 being handed to Burnley. Rosso entered a period of its identity being diluted.
Rosso was a well loved busco in Rossendale but after being privatised in 2017 it was beset with an identity crisis after parent company Transdev sought to ensure that popular routes, like the 464, were invested in whilst important town routes, like the 11, were ignored.
A Burnley Bus Company liveried Mellor Strata standing in Haslingden Town Centre ready to start the last weekday operations of the Rosso town routes under Transdev.
New R1 timetable matching the previous 11 timetable the new service replaces.
Here's a little bus story in Rossendale that might've passed people by. After 117 years of continued operation, local town routes will see a new entrant into the arena in the form of Vision Bus.
Bluesky is powered by a 20-person core team, moderators, and support agents. Our biggest costs are team and infrastructure. Subscription revenue helps us improve the app, grow the developer ecosystem, and gives us time to explore business models beyond traditional ads.
I think it has to be Wings over Scotland for me.
This is a Mute List. Its creator found loads of accounts that steal and post content, including AI generated stuff. They are often grift accounts.
Click the βsubscribeβ button and you get options to mute or block all its accounts with one button.
A manipulated screenshot of a tweet by Matt Mullenweg (@photomatt). It reads: who the fuck is scraeming "LOG OFF" at my blog. show yourself, coward. i will never log off
Yesssss!
Yesterday it was Chambers, today it's Kerr. This does feel like the run up to the Leam Richardson season where everyone outside of the squad was playing down promotion, yet the squad was sat there with this confidence they could do it.
That confidence paid off.
Well, guess I'm back here now, I'm really struggling to justify my usage of X even though I'm losing a lot of people by ditching the platform.
