He might be a convert, they are always the ones who get very enthusiastic and comply with all the doctrine. Oh no wait....

Over the past 25 yrs, we've been through this 5 times. It's heartbreaking, cherish the memories. You gave Connor the life he deserved & got unconditional love & licks. Think about how you can offer another dog the life they deserve, particularly a rescue. Connor would want it for you Sending love

Who would have thought the pope would be pro-life after as well as before birth and pro Jesus!

We got solar panels in 2023, love them. The balcony ones will be good and I see there is an intention to roll them out to low income households. They are only 0.4kwh and will make a collective dent but will need to manage expectations of those who receive them.

I joined about 5 months ago exactly for that reason as I felt guilty for my local independent book shop about my penchant for audio books.

Whoever knew what, I reckon that Starmer reckoned he would be loyal and experienced enough to handle Trump. Neither turned out to be true.

I get them now and again and I don't even have kids.

I would too if they operated in NI. Am very jealous. Though even paying 19p - still a lot cheaper than petrol.

7p a night, I wish. Overnight rate in Northern Ireland is 19p, daytime 32p! Current daily output at the moment is around 13kwh, sunny day in Summer up to 34kwh. Will look again. Saw in Spain they are researching solar cells that charge with sun and rain (kinetic energy). Perfect for our weather.

We got 12 panels 2.5 yrs ago. Would have liked a battery but we're still quite expensive. Hoped with all the r&d they would come down. Am curious what your set up cost?

I miss her quirkyness and her tenacity

This will be groundbreaking for climates like ours. Our solar panels can go from 1kwh on a dull winters day to 34kwh on a sunny June day. These kind of panels will increase that right through the year.

We have so much roof space and car parks with potential roof spaces, we should start there before farmland. However if it wasn't more profitable than farming that land, farmers would be doing it.

The point of activism is to encourage people to see your point of view, the public, legislators etc and convince them that it is valid and respond. I know lots of people who grew up in conservative Catholic or protestant families and have very different beliefs now than when they were young

At least he is not quoting Pulp Fiction.

And you have to buy one, it's not that it is being forced upon you. It's a ridiculous story. Same people complaining will pick up a meat pie with a union jack in the corner of the packaging without thinking about it.

"Belfastmen: An Intimate History of Life before Gay Liberation" is published TODAY by @cornellupress.bsky.social! I tell the story of how queer men didn't just exist in Belfast but could be accepted by friends, family & colleagues... at least until a moral panic about homosexuality in the 1950s. 🧵

Maybe something that can help change this both for residential, public sector and commercial buildings - a while off yet but a positive development for countries like Ireland www.pv-magazine.com/2026/03/04/h...

The perfect solar panels for Irish weather. Spanish researchers have invented solar cells which can generate electricity from both sunshine and raindrops. Not at prototype stage yet, but if successful, a huge step forward for more temperate and wet climates. www.pv-magazine.com/2026/03/04/h...

Doesn't show him healing or resurrecting all of the kids he blew up in Iran or enabled Israel to do in Iran and Lebanon. Could probably add in Russia and Ukraine to that list.

Our local hospitals (Northern Ireland) have funding from the UK gov for solar panels and electrification of the fleet. All in progress but heading in the right direction. It will be interesting to see after the first year what their yield has been and the reduction in fuel bills

And Russia - let's not let them off the hook. Great news about Hungary.

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

Absolutely, they will find a way to blame refugees, while ignoring that it is the same US who have directly caused the fuel hikes while bombing the hell out of their homes, arming rebel or government groups in their country, withdrawing USAID has forced their journey here in the first place.
