The book! Not the book club!

I popped in to Chester last night for my book club.. We all hated it 😂
But it was lovely to see the wolf moon glowing in the sky.
Someone had left a light on in St Peter's, illuminating some of the stained glass windows.

Wandered around Haughmond Abbey this afternoon. It was wonderful to be out out again.

I listened to the podcast. It was very difficult to hear.

Dusted off the driving gloves(no I don't own any)
40 minute drive out to Chester and back. Through the country lanes and the city centre. Getting there.

Currently working my way through 'Shrinking'
Harrison Ford really is a fine wine.
Plus it's a lovely program.

Strange day today. Still recovering, slowly.
Aches and pains. Desperately want to exercise, but every time I try my body hates me. So more resting and reading.
2nd anniversary of my Dad passing, so a general feeling of melancholy. We will see what tomorrow brings.

I think you look great as you are, but it's good to have a goal.

I have more than enough books to keep me busy this month. But! I'm more than slightly addicted to world of books. I'm doing a good deed by rehoming abandoned books. They will be read eventually and now have a cosy place on my already full bookcases.

Rubbish day, health wise. Wish my body would hurry up and get better.
So I'm listening to Suzi Quatro. Making me smile

Sutures taken out today. Everything is healing well. Still have no energy, but eating more and cooking healthy stuff.
