RNF114 is an E3 ligase that can recognize ADP-ribose (ADPr) and ubiquitin with separate domains. A proteomics approach is developed using these domains to map ADP-ribosyl-ubiquitylation sites

A few years back we discovered a dual hybrid protein modification composed of ADP-ribose dinucleotide and ubiquitin (ADPr-Ub). Now we reveal that ADPr-Ub can be further ubiquitinated by the E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF114!

All of us are in grave danger this year before of this inept fascist takeover
Remember folks, the budget cuts for NSF and NIH *can still be stopped*. That is a luxury not granted to our agency science colleagues who have or could still lose their jobs from the top down. So - Fight! Speak up! Pay attention!
NSF Physics was cut by 85%, basically wiping out most of its capacity for supporting research.
NSF Astronomy was cut by 53%
Undergrad education was cut by 71% and research on learning by 79%
Graduate education was cut by 100% to ZERO.

Innovation takes time
US scientists who received renewals from the NIH over the past four decades produced more novel research than those who didn’t

A US judge to govt lawyers defending the NIH's grant terminations:
"I understand the administration is against DEI. Respectfully, I just don't know what you mean. This isn't a teasing question. There has to be some working definition.
This is research to advance healthcare for all our citizens."
Due to great enthusiasm, we are extending the early bird registration deadline, at a reduced rate, until 25 May. After this date, the rate will increase by 1500NOK (approx. 135USD). We look forward to seeing you in Trondheim! www.endodnadamage.com
