my chest was quite sticky from the dressings and then the tape got fluff stuck on it so i replaced the tape regularly and i used adhesive remover wipes on my incisions and chest, i can send what i specifically used but they were alcohol based - i think there should be non alcoholic ones too

a few weeks after surgery i was told i could make a small cut on the bottom of the binder at each side so that i still had compression on my chest but it didn’t feel as tight. also use the contact details for aftercare advice as much as needed, i deffo did as a v anxious person!! 💜

to stop it rubbing on my skin, but i think you could also use socks in place of that! obvs follow advice from your surgeon but for a point of reference i was allowed 1 hour binder break every day (and was sad to have to put it back on but looked forward to them) (cont)

hello congrats on top surgery!! hope recovery goes smoothly for you, if you have any questions feel free to reach out (am more active on insta) like other people have said any compression is good, if the edges of the binder are irritating i had a thin layer of foam/gauze under my armpits (cont)

saw the wicked film today and it was 10/10 i have Many Thoughts but don’t want to spoil for those who haven’t seen yet so if you would like to talk about it hmu!!
