Inching along. Still feel absurdly tired. The GP was a gem tbh, he took one look at me and ordered an emergency blood test. Clinic rang back within four hours saying go to hospital NOW, and told them I was coming

Lesson learned I think πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

They're doing a full examination (under anaesthetic, I'm on the urgent operation list and have a pre-op 14th). External and internal ultrasound showed nothing significant, one polyp which they'll be removing. They will do a full smear and couple of biopsies then review options

I think that's half the problem

I'm always low on iron, but the six weeks before ran out, and was running up and down the country so didn't supplement. So I think when the menorrhagia hit I'd already slid into being anemic, and then the heavy flow just drained the rest out of me

I think it only hit me how serious it was when the hospital staff kept saying they were really concerned about me, and bewildered that I walked in smiling

Didn't figure out why until I made the mistake of googling. I was

Menorrhagia

Would not recommend men Google that

Update

Ended back in hospital with 4.9 HB, apparently critical life-threatening anemia. Woot! πŸ™‚

2 blood transfusions later and a lot of probing, back home, and excruciatingly BORED, as only back to 8.3, and have less energy than a snail stuck on a blob of glue

But still alive πŸ€“

So far there is no they. NHS 111 were good, as was the out of hours GP, but need to see my own GP when the surgery opens Monday. So far stuffing with iron supplements, eggs, red meat and anchovies.

So not feeling amazingly better

Not nearly fainting every time I stand up, feel 1.5% more energy, and given even hospitalised iron deficiency (I prob really should've called 999 last week) takes 2wks to even START to feel an improvement, I think I'm being too impatient

It struggled to find investment, sinks under corporate collapse, but produced some of the finest films of its era that far outshine anything Disney or other competitors achieved

Katzenberg was right, good art is good art, DreamWorks was right

How to balance that with execs is its problem

You don't think she'll have had a revelation and will now be joining Romaine to promote re-entering the EU? Or has she learned nothing and will still be for Leaf? Either way, she's cool as an iceberg, you have to hand it to her, could Rocket to success on the back of that.

(I'm here all week)

For those not in the other place, I emerged from A&E this week with iron deficiency anaemia caused by an almighty bout of menorrhagia. Most likely my own fault as forgot to take my iron supplements for ages. Energy crashed, blood pressure zero πŸ₯Ί

Hilariously vampiric in skin tone and sunlight tho πŸ˜‚

Was going for that πŸ™‚ Lighting was perfect for it. I need to get it on my desktop photoshop to add an oil paint canvas weave, and also even the colours out a bit

The American mins cannot comprehend the British road trip

N America: "We have been travelling 15hrs and are still in the same state/ province!!!"

UK: "I've been travelling 15hrs and I'm still stuck between the same two junctions on the M25"

They say you can drive for 12hrs in Canada and never leave the same province

In London you can travel for 9,088 hours and never leave the same Overground train 😭😭😭😭😭

(Slams head slowly on window from sheer, unadulterated boredom)

Is this purgatory? πŸ₯Ί Did I die?

It has a bloody good camera, and tbh it's not a terrible phone. No major glitches, yet, everything works well enough. Far better than my old iPhone. Not sure about selling my data soul to Google but interoperability with my other providers and it is very useful to have all my Google stuff in one

Absolutely love the Pixel8 Pro I have, but tbh only bought it after researching all the phone cameras. I could not give a toss about phones as tech, but am obsessed with photography and can't lug my DSLR everywhere, so based choice on best camera.
