I originally wrote JavaScript code for this, as part of my meister control app, to interact with MIDI devices.
Here it is shown running natively on Windows, as it will be both a client and a host library. this way it will be easier to create applications that understand the device and interact, ... with an actual or virtual device(s).
My virtual Akai Fire as an Android application is taking shape. Have some issues with the OLED initialization, but besides that, the rest is pretty much functional.
And since this needed an example, I also made an actual usecase for fun to use it as a Morse code generator. The following custom oscillator for the NTS1 mkII converts MIDI notes to morse patterns.

Here is DasBeep, a library that can be used for beep-bugging in an audible way. For example, this can be used for DSP or Logue unit development where debug tools like serial or JTAG are not available.

Will be releasing a DSP/Logue debug library tomorrow, as I got so frustrated from stabbing in the dark while developing my synth engine on the Korg NTS1.

Auto updates are a blessing and a curse; they allow fixes to be 'pushed', but they also allow mass deployment of infiltrated binaries once it was hacked.

This uses the exact same engine as used in the Korg NTS1 mkII unit I created

A bit difficult to play with just a mouse, but I think you get the idea

I am not an expert at physical modelling, so this has mostly been something I have experimented with for the last half year or so.

Note: this is not an ideal test, as it does not have slides, flutter or grace notes. I am still improving it.
Started work on a modular synth engine that can be used on Korg Logue-enabled synthesizers, like the NTS1 mkii, etc. This is the 'construct' tool which allows to shape the sound. Also available as a VST plugin ... and as embeddable library
