I see this as a viable sort of key for the lock that Strickland puts in front of people in MMA. His thai march teep feints look like this. Really slick stuff from SAHO

I dunno that looks pretty square on the hog to me

I don't want to hear the "eww why are you still posting on X it's like Stormfront" people. What do you think doomguy is getting up to in hell?
Someone needs to send an ambulance to X
This is an interesting punch
It's especially surprising given that he was about 40 seconds deep into an sprint of a finishing sequence. Must have been gasping and flooded with adrenaline. Then Kevin's watching the temple as he goes ribs, ribs, sees the elbow draw back, path's open to the head, he bonks the temple.
I love fighters who have the calmness and patience to actually do the math and figure out the RIGHT strike to throw here. So many just get excited and start teeing off or hammerfisting like a bonobo. It's hard to do shot selection when it feels like you have a blank canvas to work with.
I had a gun store employee brag to me that she'd recently set an old lady up with a KSG for home defense.
a lot of what has made discourse insane is that there's an entire crop of guys who live in dc, do a ton of uppers, and have massive gender insecurity around the fact that they're soft-handed scribes
Fucks because it's a break action that breaks the wrong damn way for some reason

Okay. Try and link the existence of the IBJJF to the impossibility of anti-hierarchical bjj training for me, then.
This is... not the case. And even if it were, presently, it wouldn't need to stay that way. Saying you can't do the sport of bjj without the IBJJF sounds like their propaganda. Or are you doing some No True Brazilian stuff where it's only REALLY BJJ if it's coming from a Gracie school?
You ever think about how much focus we put on ukemi and then see a dude defend an ippon with his forehead?
My very favorite kicks are the ones where it feels like beginning to talk louder and just slightly after someone else and making them stutter.
Setting aside them guys who knock each other's teeth out for vainglory can we just take a moment to really appreciate that what Ali did in staring jingoism down & rejecting it, taking years in prison rather than engage in imperialism or injustice, is one of the coolest things anyone has ever done?
In a 5-minute phone call to dispatchers, a federal immigration officer requests police backup last October to help with a kid tailing him on a motorized bicycle. "I need someone here now, or else I'm going to have to shoot this kid," the officer said on a recording of the call obtained by OPB.

This fight had me with my head in my hands. I hyped it up to my gf with Fluffy's handsomeness and Strickland's racism until she watched it with me. My bad, Fluffy, I jinxed you.
I tend to be pretty generous, but this truly sucks.
The chud culture surrounding MMA is such that I'm generally happy to see 70% of the roster punched bloody due to something they've said, even if I like how they play the sport. Fluffy Hernandez is in the 30% though and I would like to see him bully Sean Strickland to tears.
🥊🥋Pretty sweep / low kick from Daophrae in Thai Fight
Something I don't see enough of is fighters extending their combinations with kicks as their opponents retreat. Nobody in MMA knows how to pivot and escape out the side door. Everyone runs backwards in a straight line to the fence. Fluffy chops legs as they put it in reverse.
I'm not the first to say it, but I love watching Fluffy Hernandez fight like he's jumping someone who owes him money. His pressure, his ability to slip his way into clinches, his application of wrestling rides to keep people in the turtle, it just fucking rules.
The split step entry is really cool, I was taught this with a big step up to parallel with the non-tripping leg but I'm gonna give this method a try.
Don't love the people shitting on Vonn for her choice to compete. She didn't hurt anyone but herself, and it was a comeback run at 42 after her career had run its course. Kurt Angle took gold in '96 wrestling with a broken neck and it made him a legend. Give her the same grace for striving.
That knee flexibility is wild, I would not have expected that as a followup
