He took 20 shots game 1 maybe more than 6 should have gone in?

Everyone was bitching about Ime hating Reed (even though 27 mpg for a sophomore guard seems fine?) so I'm gonna need him to not look so scared in the playoffs. He was ass in the NCAA tournament, was so bad that game against the Warriors the starters had to come back in and is 6-24 this series
I think we are missing his north/south downhill burst but I just meant in terms of long term I was personally done with him. And our offense was actually marginally better (although very close) with him off the court last season than on. We shouldn't be this bad because are missing Jalen Green
Think it's worth pointing out Dillon is now shooting 35% from the field over his last 25 playoff games over 4 years. He disappears post season. I don't we lost much in the trade if we call it a failure and move on. I don't see how it was all in at all
Ok maybe we should calm down
And remember, even though the team that wins game 1 wins the series nearly 80% of the time, Harden game 1s don't count
A good NBA role player can make 100m in 5 years but it's not enough is it. It's never enough.
Every dollar made on these prediction markets is from the 1% picking on 99%. NBA stars and owners want to make money off your losses (and corruption)
Great!
Curious why you thought it would be Reed the other day?
His answer
I guess this isnt going down well on rockets twitter
Bronny James stan checking in, needs to see my guy finally get an opportunity
I guess if we won't last night Denver would have played starters to try to secure home court though
At the very least I dont see why they would rather play Minny than us, and if all things are equal, rest your main guys last game of the season is probably the default
Wemby playing tonight to get to 65 games, i assume he wil be rested against Denver who might play Jokic who also needs one to get to 65, so hopefully that one is in the bank. Really might just come down to this g-league OKC/Den game and which random player has a night
Players played more games and minutes even just 10 years ago and it sounds like injuries have increased, not decreased. I dont think we are any closer at all to understanding how to optimise player health, in fact we are probably further away.
Enjoyed Stan van Gundy's mini rant on the Zach Lowe show about sports scientists in the NBA in the debate about 65 games and resting players. You only have to look at how many players are cupping, using kt tape etc to know there's a bunch of junk pseudoscience around the league.
Grim
Feels like the whole nba medie ecosystem is pencilling in Denver in 3 and Houston/Lakers in the 4/5 matchup. I don't get it...to me, unfortunately, I think Lakers are favourites to finish 3rd.
Not a fan of the fact that if Houston are in a close game down the stretch in the playoffs and Kevin Durant is at the free throw line all of a sudden I have to be worried he is gonna choke. This is a career 89% FT shooter. I watched that fucker make 40 in a row against us in the 2018 playoffs
Okogie starting feels like a good compromise in the TarivReed debate. Okogie helps you with the defense and rebounding like Tari, and while not the ballhandler/shooter Reed is, hits open shots and has been great putting the ball on the floor and swinging it. Helps with the new, more fluid offense.
Tilman Fertitta woke king
Yeah not playing the worst rotational player in the league anymore definitely helped
Right on. I didn't know how good we had it during the Harden years, at least post Lin. None of these specific player driven biases. For an online fanbase that worshipped Christian Wood, then Kevin Porter Jr, then Jalen Green, none of whom are missed, no lessons seem to have been learnt.
Think a lot of the offensive improvement has been attributed to Reed but since March 19th and the Atlanta win the ORTG is 122.2, they've improved across the board.
Wonder if that's the last of the Reed starting experiment after the debacle to start against Phoenix. Constantly losing minutes and against not particularly good teams.
I'm guessing it's just extra insurance for playoffs and a to for next year. Answered my own q
Why tho
