As you may know, each game running via Proton is given its own prefix, simulating locations like Documents / Appdata to house saves + configs.

That prefix, and all its files, is deleted ENTIRELY upon game uninstall.

not saying this is *the* mandatory individual solution to a clearly systemic problem - not everyone has the power to make that accountability happen - but I think it's good to be aware of how these platforms conduit your emotional states in both unhelpful and helpful ways

this is probably obvious to anyone who has read any sort of kvetching on any social media platform long enough but I think there is value in looking to turn the motives behind this kind of posting into direct/collective methods of seeking justice/change/recognition/accountability

I feel that a big contributing factor to the way people post/reply to posts, especially in political spheres or when speaking about political things (at least in the US), is a reaction to a IRL situation where accountability is, or feels, impossible
