What is striking to me about these is that the Justices candidly admit they are imposing their will without understanding the merits of the case.
Most striking to me about these memos is the radically different assessment of the harm imposed by the president not being able to pursue his initiatives. Over the last 15 mos., that harm has in numerous cases been treated as almost per se serious and irreparable. Here, it gets no analysis at all.
This is both
(1) some of the most important SCOTUS reporting ever, and
(2) far too generous to the Republican justices in framing of many pieces and omissions of Trump-era developments

I flew them one time to Denver. Not horrible if you have a short flight and only have a carry-on. And bring your own food and drink. They sell a cheap seat, but then charge for EVERYTHING else, even stuff you get on other airlines. If you add a few ‘add ones’ they can get as expensive as others.

Ahhh, in the old RTR tape days, we had the old 'pulling a vacuum' tape loading races. Load the tape thru the head block and onto the take-up reel, shut the door, hit 'LOAD', and then a long loop of tape would be pulled down into a vacuum column on either side of the heads. Then you are good to go.
My take is that it just takes a bit more scheduling and planning to get together with friends at larger cons. And don't be too bummed out if some of them don't make it. I find people who are early-risers and make plans to meet up for breakfast. Make plans for dinner early, but also be flexible. Etc.

I’m sure that they would end up with a ‘code’, like the old hanky color code. Piercing in top left means one thing, middle right means another. Etc.
